SENTINEL Print Pack S/4 is an event driven, high performance print management tool designed to process enterprise wide label and form printing data, regardless of format. It enables host applications to print to any designated printer anywhere in the enterprise.

Sentinel benefits from significant process management features that fully leverage the Internet (such as real-time notifications via email) while continuing to support legacy systems.

SENTINEL enables data from a host system to be merged with LABELVIEW label designs without requiring complex and costly modifications to the host application. SENTINEL supports any enterprise system, including host applications from SAP, Baan, JD Edwards, Oracle, PeopleSoft and others.

How Sentinel works:

1. An ERP application (ex. SAP, Baan, JD Edwards, Oracle Applications, Peoplesoft, etc.) sends data to SENTINEL.

Input Methods can be:

File Capture (monitoring a directory)
TCP/IP Port Listening
Print Capture (monitoring a print spool)
Data collection software connection

2. Data is processed and mapped to a label design in LABELVIEW

3. The label is then printed to any Windows or thermal printer.

Reporting offers several options:

Email (reports events in real-time)
Log File (logs events for traceability)
TCP/IP (receive confirmation of processed data)

4. Data Output can be archived or presented to another "Sentinel" or "watch" directory
